Spotlight on EF Accelerate: Students in our EF Accelerate afterschool program have an opportunity to extend their learning from the school day with opportunities in the fine arts, including visual art at Slaughter Elementary School.
It's Sweet Potato Season! 4-H club members at CES and JES were educated on the process of harvesting sweet potatoes, learned about their nutritional value, and partook in a tasting session with a baked sweet potato accompanied by butter, brown sugar, and sea salt.
Last month, East Feliciana High School students enrolled in career & technical education courses attended the “Build Your Career” event at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. Students engaged with various companies involved in different trades like construction and plant work. Students also learned about opportunities for internships and possible job opportunities after graduation.
PINK FOR A PURPOSE: In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise money for breast cancer research and care, students and staff celebrated a district "Pink Out Day” on Friday, October 27.
Last month, Clinton Elementary School students visited the Barn Hill Preserve right here in East Feliciana Parish, where they had a chance to learn about a variety of animals, tour the corn maze, take a tractor ride, and experience other hands-on learning activities.

Tuesday, October 17's home football game held at Calvin Chapman Memorial Stadium in Clinton against the SlaughterCommunity Charter School Knights. The Tigers were victorious, 24-16.
