STEPPING INTO THE FUTURE: East Feliciana Middle School hosted their annual Eighth
Grade Promotion Ceremony to celebrate student achievements throughout middle school and encourage students in their next step of entering high school.
Students and staff of EF STEAM recently hosted their 2nd Annual White Coat Ceremony. 1st year students received their white coats to reflect their knowledge of the school’s aquaponics lab, and Founding Students received a special pin commemorating their second year at the school.

SPOTLIGHT ON STEM LEARNING AT EFMS: This week, East Feliciana Middle School hosted a Family & Community STEM Night with learning stations highlighting science, technology, engineering, and math.
Students at EF STEAM have been planning for an expansion to their sustainable agricultural operation for next school year. Last week, they determined the appropriate dimensions for a goat pen, using pallets to determine the most appropriately sized enclosure for two goats.
SWEET TREATS AT SES: 3rd-6th graders at Slaughter Elementary School enjoyed a Sno-Ball treat after working hard on their LEAP tests to show growth and meet their individual goals!
