Child Nutrition Program

Our Mission Statement

The East Feliciana Parish School Board Child Nutrition Program is committed to serving healthy, nutritious meals that are both appetizing and affordable, ensuring all students have access to balanced meals daily. Aligned with the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs), calorie goals, and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the program's menus are designed to support students' health and well-being. The administration believes that good nutrition is essential for learning and that every child deserves a nutritious breakfast and lunch at the lowest possible price. Through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Child Nutrition Program, free breakfast and lunch are provided to all students, adhering to the District Wellness Policy and all federal and state regulations. As an educational partner, the East Feliciana Public Schools' Child Nutrition Program fosters a successful academic experience and promotes lifelong healthy eating habits by offering appealing, nutritious meals served by caring professionals in a pleasant environment.
